I'm with ya brother! It's a very strange world where people are proud of being in violent gangs, and getting sent to jail, and others are made to feel ashamed about being cool, loving, peaceful people.
Hopefully, everyone else will get there in the end, and realise that love and peace are about the most important things you can ever have.

No, I think it's great that you promote peace and love. I think if more people did the same, the world would be a much better place. Don't worry about what other say or think...just be true to what you believe in. Peace

The hippy culture changed history, it stoped the Vietnam war, made people aware of love and peace through music. A pity we cannot bring it back again, i am happy i was part of it, and sad at the way the world is now. Wonder what John Lennon would think of this world now.?? Peace and Love brothers and sisters.

Being made in God's image has not something to do with the way we glance. God isn't a guy subsequently God can not look as though a guy. God is a spirit. Spirits do not choose air to stay alive. God is a male yet not a guy because of the fact he's not a individual (no guy has ever seen God at every time). A male lion can not be referred to as a guy because of the fact he's not a individual. To be made in God's image ability human beings have been created with capacity to worship mutually as animals weren't.

As I grew older I realized peace and love didn't pay the bills or make you feel any better when your house is robbed, your second grader is threatened at school -peace and love isn't comforting here either.
But long hair and smoking weed and rock n roll sure help take the edge off the day!

I agree...the world needs more love, less hate. More peace less war. I don't know if people just honestly don't care or they're just ignorant of whats going on in the world. I mean no, I'm not the most current up to date person.. but I do try to get involved in things. In college I was involved in the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance and the Gay-Straight Alliance on campus and loved every minute of it

As a person that is avidly anti-hippy, I also think that peace and love are great things. It is just that the hippies of yesteryear were sooooo sappy and whiney about it with their sappy songs and stupid catch phrases. They were dirty, lazy, smelly, leaching, pot-smoking, no-good hippies!
Ahem, I digress. So, you can see where the hippy stigma comes from, yes? Get with the times, man. Peace and love are still in... the hippy lifestyle is out.
