Yes, people do win money. However if you read the rules, you'll find out that there are a very small number of winners compared to the number of players. Just like the lottery.

No I think it is a big scam, there is always one piece that everyone is missing. Me and my friends always had the exact pieces, maybe if u searched worldwide for the missing property u need, u could win, but it would be hard finding that last piece u need. Like boardwalk with no park place.
