You probably won't believe this but my first concert was the original Woodstock concert, in July 1969. I was 16 years old and it was not far from my home. I stayed for only 1.5 days, as my sleeping bag got soaked in the rain, but I had a great time.
The best concert I ever saw was by a guy named Steve Goodman, who is best known for writing the song "The City of New Orleans," which was a hit for Arlo Guthrie in the early 1970s. Goodman was an amazing entertainer, singer, songwriter and guitarist, and I consider him one of the best guitarists of all time. I saw him twice and both times were fall-down-laughing funny and exceptionally entertaining.
Unfortunately, Goodman died of leukemia in 1984.
On a more recent note, I saw an excellent concert by John Fogerty at Wolftrap in the DC suburbs, around 2000 or so. It was really good, if VERY loud.

spice girls, when i was 7 years-old.
yea, when i become a rock star and everyone asks me that question I'm going to have to make something up....because I'm sure as hell not going to tell the truth...lol. but I LOVE MOTLEY CRUE, I bet that was an awesome concert. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to go, my mother wouldn't let me. apparently its "too dangerous and grownup for a 14 year-old" yeah, right.
(and to the person above me: i went to the Foo Fighters concert at the AZ State Fair last weekend, It was really good. I loved how Dave ran off stage into the middle of the crowd to play a solo.....it sounded pretty Led Zeppelin influenced, very cool.)

My first concert was the KISS Dybasty tour in 1978. I was on the floor, sixth row, just off ot the left, and it was that night that caused me to become a bass player.
My favorite convert that I ever attended was Pink Floyd Momentary Lapse of Reason in 1990. (released as a live album... the Delicate Sound of Thunder).
The best concert I ever attended was Iron Maiden/ Queensryche/ Halford. Three rock legends on stage at the same show.... and I was close enough to touch the stage.

My first was Richard Marx back in the '80s (how lame, although he is a good songwriter). But my best have been Madonna, Madonna, Madonna! This summer I got 2nd row tickets and my sister and I went and had a wonderful experience! Madonna came over to the edge of the stage and looked right into my eyes and sang directly to me for about 15 seconds during "Lucky Star" this summer. I adore her!!! She puts on one heck of a show every time, let me tell you!
P.S. I met Aerosmith when they were arriving on their plane for a concert in my hometown back in 1989. Steven Tyler was really sweet and put his arms around my sister and me for pictures. They were all really nice guys, and their concerts are excellent, too!

Metallica, Danzig and Suicidal Tendacies was my first. But the best would have been the Lullapolusa which Metallica Headlined, not because they headlined but because it was the end of the line for a few bands. I was able to see the Ramones, SoundGarden. As well it had Rancid, Violent Femmes, Tea Party and others.

My first concert was Immature (mid 90s R&B group) and my best concert I would have to say Linkin' Park. Opening up was Snoop Dog, and Korn... It was the best...
