i know what movie your talking about, and your right. that movie was quite disturbing and i remember thinking, wow.. this movie is F'd and that it would make a way better book...im surprised it didnt get harsher reviews and more critized.
anyway, the actor who played the young sean in the movie is cameron bright, he was born in 1993, so it would have made him about 10 when they made that movie.
i agree with you, it was a weird movie, but apparently it supposed to be weird they say.. but i agree with you..
and the movie is called "Birth"

OK. The whole scenario sounds really disturbing, and though I've never seen the movie, I do know that actors don't actually kiss, they do what's called a 'stage kiss'
Granted, I haven't seen the movie so if there the viewer can see tounges touching, then it is also possible that there was a double for that scene.
That being the case, there is only an illusion of a passonate kiss between Kidman and a child and therefore it is perfectly legal. Albeit disturbing all the same.

Gee I must have missed taht movie!
Any 9 year old who gets to kiss her is lucky!
Were there stunt doubles.
A lot of big actresses always demand body doubles for kisses, which is why you only see very close-ups of the mouth.
Hollywood is so fake it's rediculous.
An Extra is dressed up to look like the star, because the star is long gone and they need someone to walk off into the sunset at the last moment!
They star would have cost them $25,000 for that day, the Extra got $40

I don't know the movie, but, are you sure that the "9 year old" was/is really 9 years old?
Unless this was a child porn flick, I doubt that a producer would make that scene with an actual 9 year old child.
Make up artists can make an 18 year old appear as 9.

most of the movies can survive just because they make people be shocked or talk a lot about special senes... the example u gave is very right... It shouldnt be like this... Thats not normal...
Producers care about money only...not people feelings..
where the world is going, right?
