ok.here's the problem.there's this guy in school.he's kind of like my best guy friend (only known him for like 2 months but we turned out to be really good friends)& he has a gf who is my friend too.( we three are of the same nationality).he's a really nice guy with great manners & very polite too.well,the thing is that he sometimes does wierd things.like annoying me(i do that too) hanging out with me etc. & he ALWAYS knows when i'm feeling down & trys to cheer me up in the best way he can,calling me up to make me laugh(even though he says he's not good at that)& when i'm a bit silent,he gets soo concerned(i'm a really hyper,fun person by nature)& asks me what's wrong.plus he calls me 'baby' in our language.(i'm not sure if this is normal cos i'm the only girl in our nationality except for his gf)so,this is my question,
is he trying to be more than a good friend or just flirting(he really does love his gf & is a very nice guy)is there any inner motive that i'm unaware of?thanks all

He could just want to be friends, but sounds like he want both of you her all the time and you on the side behind her back

He likes to flirt with girls, and he is good at it, that's how he got a girlfriend. Plus, he is probably keeping his options open if he breaks up with her.
