Okay, my ex-bf brokeup with me becuz he said work was the most important thing to him and he siad he'd give up anything for work and so he broke up with me. i think relationships are give and take... u may take a back seat for now... but later you could be the most important factor in his life. also, one time in your life he won't be your no 1 ...eg if u have kids.... men usually take a backseat in this part of a relationship's life. weigh the pros and cons and if he is a pretty good guy apart from this i would stick by him .... bottom line is if you have a long term future together you will benefit as well as him if he is successful at work......good luck whatever u decide...

If you like him, give him another chance, but tell him in no uncertain terms that if he does it again he is finished! Men aren't always comfortable with having to think of more than one thing at a time whilst we women are good at multi-tasking. I would also insist on some really good dates to make up and perhaps even a little holiday to prove you are more important than work.

He already showed you how much he valued you and the relationship you had when he chose work over you. So, unless you want to be second class in a relationship... stay away from this guy.

Email him back and list your priorities of what you expect out of your relationship and see if he accepts them if not then dont take him back
