It depends on what you like. I will say though that when I am driving or trying to rest I love books on tape. I am enjoying a book right now called The Book of Fate by Brad Meltzer. It is a suspense novel that gets you form the first page. I also enjoy all Dan Brown (Devinci Code fame) and Nelson DeMille.
If you like sports I would suggest Clemente by David Maraniss.
My favorite book series is the Harry Potter series even if your an adult it still is fun.
Hope this helps and I hope you feel better. I know how you feel 6 months recovering from cancer and all I had to watch was the OJ Simpson Trial LOL.

There are about a million GREAT books to read anytime, depending on your tastes. I love to read, so I have way too many favorites to list, but here are a few suggestions:

IT by Stephen King
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
The Chamber by John Grisham
Postmortem by Patricia Cornwell
The Godfather by Mario Puzo
Anything for Billy by Larry Mcmurtrey

The list could go on forever, but you heres a little of everything: horror, classic, legal thriller, mystery/suspense, western, even organized crime.

For you or another person?
Does the reader have any known preferences? Mysteries? romances? biographies? Go with the known preference, if possible.

If the reader is in pain or drugged up, something that is easy to read is always a good idea. Although I think it is dreck, the" Da Vinci Code" is certainly no intellectual stretch.

If into mysteries, anything by Lawrence Sanders, Lawrence Block, and Max Allan Collins are fun to read, interesting enough to keep you reading, but not difficult.

I have friends who are thrilled by the "Chicken Soup" series.

Good luck in your search.

PS Paperbacks - light enough to read while you're flat on your back and if you drop them by dozing off, probably no harm done.

Anything by Janet Evanovich. An extremely talented author and her stories make you laugh out loud while entwining you in mystery. The first series of books is from 1 to 10. Fast reads and very entertaining.

Try a good John Grisham book. In terms of reading these are like candy. Once you start you can't stop. It's a nice little pick me up for someone who needs an escape.

The graphics of this remake are quite refreshing and as a bonus in this game, you?ll be able to go back in the map if you forgot to get those coins back there. Your objectives in this game are to avoid being touched by monsters or enemies if you want to finish this adventure.
