It's drastic but shop him in. I used to do it in moderation at first and i lost a mate to this sort of thing.
It's a slippery slope and it's hard to get off, he needs a scare tactic on himselff.
If he lives at home, threaten to kick him out, but you actually have to carry out the threat if he pushes you. Tough love is the only way sometimes or the person you love might not exist anymore if he keeps down the rocky path.
Whatever you happens, do not pay the money off he owes or he'll get dealer credit again! E mail if you've got any q's, bought the t - shirt to this situation

if it were me who owed the money i would take out the lenders, i'm in the position to do that sort of thing as you are'nt your between a rock and a hard place. does one inform the cops and risk him being marked as a grass or pay the money for the rest of his life. you and your family are going to have to kick him out with enough money to dissapear. you need serious back up if you havent got it theres only the cops left. whats the better alternative a dead junkie for a brother or a brother who's still alive and ostracised by his so called friends.

I can't pretend to know what this must like for all your family. I'm lucky enough to say i'm not in that situation so i can't pretend to know what to say to you. I'd try the organisations suggested by the others though. good luck

He needs to help himself before you can help him....harsh i know cos you just want to reach out and help him and make things disapear......easier said than done.
Just try and talk to him and let him know that you are there.
Good luck!!!

You can't help him,,,,,, What i mean is he needs to want to stop this himself as its know good you are your mum and dad pushing him. They will just push him away.
