Some tips:
1. Create a blog detailing your need. Put a very compelling or entertaining story as to why you need the money. People are more likely to give to you if you were effective in pulling their heart strings. Maybe write about how clever you are in making your $20 last you a week or something
2. Auction it on ebay. Create a handmade, cheesy, gross or unique product and put it up for bid with the title "Buy this to help me out of my misery." Or offer 1 shoe (not the pair) and say that's all you can afford. People have bought crazier items on ebay so think how you can package your presentation. Again, make your copy compelling.

arrange for a "breast cancer awareness" marathon or camp..charge a small participation fee...but it depends on what your age is? and if you will be able to manage it or not.
