1. More for the benefit of Cubalishus, Poulton-le-Fylde is a small town in Lancashire with a population of about 20,000. The Residence is a pub there. The pub's claim for fame is that it used to be owned by local resident, Keith Harris (you know, the TV personality famous for inserting his arm up a large green duck's bottom, and talking with a silly voice, as you do).
2. If you are seriously interested in knowing when the pub will re-open, you could ask the licensing section of your local authority, because the pub (and its owner or manager) will need to obtain two licences for its re-opening (Premises Licence and Personal Licence).
