Clean the virus

Check for spyware. Run both Ad-aware Peronal Edition ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com ) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.

Download and run AVG virus scanner from http://free.grisoft.com/softw/70free/setup/avg71free_405a782.exe for free

I would assume you would need to remove the virus first with some form of software and then reinstall your operating system. If you did not have an anti-virus software installed previously you might have to completely reinstall your operating system and possibly lose data in the process. I am not a computer expert but through trial and a lot of error I found it is imperrative to have certain software installed and operating at all times. I use "Zone Alarm" firewall, "Fix itUtilities 6" anti-virus, spyware, malware, adware etc, "Smart pop-up Blocker" for pop-ups (which I've installed many but none compare to Smart Pop-up Blocker). Without these tools you are extremely vulnerable to attack! There are so many morons out there these days doing this stuff that my "update" generally pops-up several times a week! Zone Alarm is a free download with a paid upgrade, (I use the free with no problems), Utilities 6 is now "7" but only cost about $30 and has a ton of provisions associated with it, and the Smart Pop-up was free but they just went to a $20 lifetime fee!
Hope I've shed some light for you but I think you really need to consult an expert. Here's a website you might take a look from someone else's computer that has been very helpful in the past for me. It's www.allexperts.com! Just read through the various subject titles and click on the one regarding computers. In the sub titles you will find various subjects regarding computers where you can ask an expert for advice. It is very reliable because they screen people very well before allowing them to answer questions in your field. Excellent site to keep in "favorites"!

Just replace the attacker site with google.com or set it to blank page.

5: Now we need to kill the process from back end. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del

Kill the process svhost32.exe . ( may be more than one process is running.. check properly)

6: Delete svhost32.exe , svhost.exe files from Windows/ & temp/ directories. Or just search for svhost in your comp.. delete those files.

7: Go to regedit search for svhost and delete all the results you get.

Start menu > Run > Regedit >

8: Restart the computer. That’s it now you are virus free.

I don’t know whether any removal patch that works for this Trojan/virus. But we can easily delete it manually.

Your best bet is probably to restore your system back to an earlier point. Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore, and choose a date for which you know the problem wasn't occurring.
