Rooney was in front of the goal no one was defending him and he didn't score, Scholes or C.Ronaldo should have been captain they have been playing the best for Man.Utd.

rooney never deserved its not only that you should be a good player but rather a good leader with full leadership qualities. rooney is a furious person and i don't think that he can carry on playing with captaining as well. scholes is really Good player and seems he has it all to be the man u captain, ronaldo can be experimented but it if fergie wanted experiment the best option experimenting was van der sar

I think Scholes is a good captain for Man Utd. Ronaldo and Rooney are not. Rooney and Ronaldo can't control their emotions, and that is really important for a team captain.

He is quite great in that game,but I think Paul Scholes or Edwin van der Sar should be the captain.

rooney is undoubtedly the most worst behaved, vile tempered, foul mouthed animal i have ever seen in my life! how the hell could he lead his team to victory when half his life he is being sent off with red cards?!
