definently. Take the US for example, anyone who does not fit the mainstream societal standards are stereotyped, and even people who do fit a cultural standard are stereotyped by others.

people are stereotyped by being preppy, strereotyped by their accent and/or skin color, etc, etc

yes, they do this everyday.

Black people can't swim when in fact most can that I know.
