Do you realize how unstable and unpredictable it is? Do you know how many people have lost fingers, hands, and even their lives because of acetone peroxide? Sometimes just touching it can cause it to detonate, and 0.1 grams (the size of half a pea) is enough to blow off a finger.

Regarding all of the other answers above ^.^ , acetone peroxide IS VERY UNSTABLE, BUT under the right conditions with safety measures it can be a very useful SCG-D HE (High Explosive) to be used in blasting caps. I do not recommend trying to make this, unless you are using it for good purposes, and are making less than a half a gram of it. I am giving the formula to you because it does not say how to make it in the formula, and there is nothing bad about giving out a formula. I trust you are using it for the right purposes and reasons, and I am not responsible for anything you do with it.

FORMULA:

(Raw)
C3 H6 O + H2 O2 -----> C9 H18 O6

(Balanced)

C9 H18 2O3 ------> C9 H18 O6

You do, of course, realize that asking this question puts oyou on a list of terror suspects. Acetone Peroxide is reported to have been the stuff used by the London Subway bombers.

Don't try it, unless you are in a controlled environment and understand organic chemistry. This reaction can run away from you very quickly.
