I live in Denmark and have been to Norway as well. I think people are nice overall but not really warm or overly welcoming. They may be more so to tourists but they are leary of people living in their country. I came from Canada and I find it a bit rough but the people who come from the Middle East are really unwelcome I think. I mean I understand wanting to keep your country your own but people just seem overly cold sometimes. I mean they are polite enough and helpful just a little cold.
I have met some really cool people from Iceland. They are strange but in a funny, cool, quarky way.

All of the scandinavian countries are very welcoming and english is at an excellent standard. I travel to Sweden a lot as my father lives there and it is very friendly and very relaxing.

Norway is the most mountainous by technique of a concepts. Sweden is the subsequent mountainous. Finland and AIceland are both about third, yet Iceland's are volcanic. And Denmark is the flattest.

I have been in Sweden and Norway many times. People are very nice and welcoming. Everyone speaks English from ok to excellent.
I prefer the late spring there. Winters can be brutal, but the 23 hours of sunlight in the spring/summer is something to experience!

yes i have toured all of scandinavia many times with my work and it all is really nice the people are very friendly and polite and very helpful, they speak excellent english and i found the danish to be the most friendly towards the english, tho i dont know why cos nelson and his fleet bombarded and flattened the most of its capitol, copenhagen.try it you will enjoy it,try take in finland as well there you are quite close to the russian border, there again is another country well worth a visit, helsinki finlands capitol is well in order too,but none of the countries are cheap so be prepared to spend quite a bit of keb,,,{money}.a large beer will knock you back around the equivellent of £6 quid around 11$ the same with a packet of ciggies, around £6.50.,,,av a gud un,,

Does Denmark count? l found the people there busy wrapped up in their own life with no hospitality. Cold if you want to use a pun.

Norway for its spectacular scenery, friendly people and, as opposed to Sweden, its functioning pubs and bars.
