I am assuming you mean QueensTOWN (a city in NZ) not Queensland (a state in Oz). I'm not certain of exact distance, but if you are driving from Rotorua on the North Island to Queenstown on the South Island, with no stops along the way and assuming no long waits for the ferry to get across, plan on (including the ferry ride) at least 8-hrs, likely a bit longer.

You can use this website to calculate distances:

Rotorua isn't on there and neither is queensland. But using Auckland to Brisbane as the best points the website came back with:

1423 miles which is about 3 hours flying time, or over 24 hours by boat.

It will take you at least 2 hours to get from Rotorua to Auckland. Also there are other destinations in Queensland such as Cairns which is further north.

QueensLAND is a state in Australia. QueensTOWN is a town in New Zealand.

Do you want to know how far it is between Rotorua and Queenstown?

You didn't give a city in Queensland, Australia, so I just used the closest city with an airport that I could find with Google Earth, which was Brisbane International Airport. A straight line between the two airports was 1,529 miles.
