Linda - try looking for a "freecycle" group in your area. This is a recycling concept where people give stuff away rather than throwing it away.

Try typing "freecycle" and the name of your area into google as the search words.

You mean yarn that somebody would be willing to mail to you for free? They would probably want to be reimbursed for shipping which would probably be about the cost of the yarn.

go to your local senior center and ask them if they could use it there. i did it.the senior center really needed it for crafts and things.
