The idea I used for my daughter was the first two letters of her fathers name and the last four of mine. His name Jamaine mine Tameka and I wanted to spell it different so I spelled it kinda like jamaica. Her name is Jameica. You may hear her name everyday though, but that's what I came up with. She has a sister whose named after her uncle his name is raymell and her sisters name is rayel that's sorta different n you definately don't hear that everyday. As for boys can't really say, my boys are named after they're dad's. So my idea's are to kinda combine yours and dads name and see what you come up with. You may even find some different baby names on different sites too!

I wanted unique names for my kids but I wanted names that
1) could be pronounced easily
2) were different but not weird (IMO, spelling a common name oddly is not different, just creates difficulties)

So my kids are Eden (girl) and Carson (boy)

Now I live in Bosnia and those names are considered weird. Some cool Bosnian names...
Girl: Nezla, Zana (pronounced John-ah), Amira, Samra, Adisa
Boy: Amir, Dragan, Goran, Darko, Faris, Kenan

I like Jasmine or Jai for a girl, or maybe Mia. or Sonya. I like Chloe and Cara, too. or if you like an ordinary name but with different spelling Ashlee or Ashleigh would be cool.
for a boy, hmmmm i like Chad, Cole, Bryce, Conner, Skyler, and Chase. dnt particularly like these but here are some other different names: Gunner, Hunter, Eli, Kaleb or Caleb, Coby, Cody....... hope i helped
also, you could name your boy Ashley Cole. always thougt that was a cool name, but of course he might not like having Ashley as a name when he grows up. so you could name your girl that....

Add the initiala of parents to from a logical name, or the alphabets taken together (from Parents' name) to form a new name... try it out it's fun.. & obviously unique.
