When the color palette can include so many shades of gray, the colors appear life-like, or TRUE.

Has to do with making sure that the color you see on your computer screen, and what you get from your printer are the same. Nothing worst then spending hours getting a picture perfect on the screen, only to print it out and have it be too red or too green. True colour is suppose to make it so the color is the same.

True color is a color that displays on screen, as it will be printed.

these are CYMK colors that can de displayed in a TRUE rbg gamut, as apposed to a WEB COLOR (just for display) or a PANTONE COLOR (color that is a printer defult that will print a specific color that sometimes (some times quite often depending on your monitor) will not display on screen correctly.

its the basic colours being used to re create other colours, so no Burgundy or turquoise or any of that faf colours green, blue, red, yellow,
