It depends on what the relationship is like! If it is still a caring relationship the sex should be great and real comfortable ,but if its not it probably sucks!

If the couple had communicated their desires for intimacy throughout the marriage and they had compromised on the amount of sex. The sex life would fit nicely with the couple and vary accordingly.

A couples sex life will be what they want it to be, and what they make it into.
To many people let the responsibilities of a home, of children, of jobs, and of paying bills take priority in the relationship.
If you don't schedule time for each other, whether it be still going on dates, or weekends away from the children, ect. then due to worries and being exhausted you don't make or take time for sex.

My husband and I have been together for 17 years and the sex is better now than before because we have experimented, we are aware of each others likes and dislikes and we love to role play.

depends on the love that the couple has betwen them. my parents were married for thirty five years and still got in on at least 3-4 times a week. is embarssing when your mom talks to you about her sex life.
