To me it does not matter what a girl was wearing,or wether or not she has fancy clothes,I think what matters more than anything else is personality and what can be put into a relationship.
You are obviously someone who has their priorities right however, although you want to contribute some cash to those who need it more, never forget that YOU are also very important and treat yourself once in a while.
If a guy does not like you by the way you dress or look then stuff him,and who cares what anyone else thinks,he needs to like you for being yourself, and whatever you wear you will never be Trampish and your beauty is being you.
All the best.

Anyone who judges you by your clothes is very shallow and their opinion is not worth too much.
Having said that, first impressions carry a lot of importance. Looking clean and tidy is important.
A balance can be reached quite easily.
Forget about giving away your money, keep it for a rainy day, The people you give it to will probably spend it on Adidas trainers. If you really want to donate surplus funds, consider making a will. That way, if you are ever in need, you should have savings you can use, if you don't need it, it will go to a worthy cause.

I honenstly think Girls worry to much about clothes!!! If you look nice in something that's not a big label, then you still look nice..... Would be a very shallow guy if he didn't like you becuase you weren't sporting the lastest Prada Bag don't you think?? Oooh and a nice smile goes just as far as a well coordinated outfit when making an impression. I think what you are considering is fab!!

No sorry I'm so air-headed and vacuos that I couldn't even look at someone who didn't look as if they'd just stepped off the front cover of a woman's glossy. Seriously though. If a guy says it does matter that you're not togged out in this season's must haves he's probably gay and not interested anyway, normal guys don't worry about trivia like fashion.

I think most guys would treasure you. I don't wish to generalise, but I reckon most guys would feel more comfortable with their girlfriends wearing jeans and t-shirts when relaxing and only getting dolled up for special occassions.
Guys prefer the simple things in life, we (sorry, maybe just I) don't give a stuff about fashion.
You have an interest in helping others and therefore are probably not self-centred. That's a BIG plus.
As long as you are neat and don't look like a 'tart', you'll be fine.

I don't care one bit for fashion. In fact, I prefer the girls who regularly dress in scruffy t-shirts/jeans. They're not prim and proper, and won't spend every last penny on fashion labels.
I hate dressing up for going out/suit occasions, so I'd feel really uncomfortable going out with a girl who dresses up regularly. I have to wear a uniform at work, so the last thing I want to do is dress up to go out.
Be who you want to be. You sound really sweet, so I'm sure it won't be long before you find a nice guy.

I don't particularly care what someone wears. as long as they feel comfortable with what they are wearing then that's all that matters. Let's be honest, if you are wanting to meet a nice guy then he is going to be more interested in what you are about than what you are wearing and if he isn't then he ain't a nice guy.

Yes - absolutely. You will most likely meet someone who shares your values.
Trying to be someone you don't want to be will make it more likely you will meet someone who is looking for some you are not (I hope that makes sense).
Fad-driven fashion-seeker is one of the danger signs marking out a shallow, air-head.

I tend to go by gut instinct rather than appearance. You sound like you have strong moral priniples so perhaps men who judge women on what they wear aren't the right type of men for you?
