On YouTube I see movie that have clips from TV/films/Music in them. Where can I get these clips from?

What sites/places can I get them from? Are they free and how can I use them in movies? For instance fan movies that show lots of different clips from films, how can I do this?

You need some sort of video editor. And tehn to get the clips you will need to upload them yourself or get them from somewhere like limewire.
