Please don't make sweeping generalizations. It is unbecoming of you.
I am an atheist.I do not defend child rape,or support the enemies(who ever they might be).Nor do I defend religion of ANY type.As I feel most of the worlds problems have been caused by the religious of this world. With their my god is better then your god mentality.
I really enjoyed how you threw in the gay card at the end.It was a good touch. But it does not hold up as it is NOT taught in most schools across the USA.
One last point.I served in Nam from 68 to 69.Apparently I am not a gutless traitor. When and where have you served?

No, you are not the only one, and no, they are not that screwed up. Though your views are very much generalizing and disturbed. Most secular (atheist) people are Humanists (without even knowing it). Basically this means you don't do anything to anyone, that you don't want anyone else to do to you. Hence this embraces that you respect that there are people that are different than you. But if you don't hit them, they don't hit you. This doesn't mean these people respect that there are people in this world that do vicious things, but this also doesn't mean we have to go out there and kill 'm all. Humanist know that when you use violence, there will be (more) violence in return, until one party is laying severely crippled on the ground.
The problem with the USA is that they think the whole world wants their (christian) lifestyle, which is far from the truth. Even the opposite is true. The most of the world think they are nothing but greedy. Btw, greed is a deadly sin:

Sometimes it's hard to understand that there are people that think or are otherwise different. This especially counts for many religions and indoctrinations, because they derive their values and morals from scriptures from sometimes even thousands years old and are based on ancient tribal believes. These indoctrinated people say that when it's written it's true. That's why they can't accept there are people that are somewhat different, and are not very eager to open their minds for information that could open their eyes to the rest of the world.

No one supports the enemies. However, do we support the way it is being handled...NO.

No one defends child rape. The only people I see defending sex with boys are the Republicans with Foley...or did you forget that one already?

Trashing Christians. The religious right, authoritarian christians are way out of control. True Christians would never be so fowl mouthed and hateful as these people are.

Also these christians are not defending the women in Iraq or Afghanistan the soldiers are and not all are christians.

As far as sexuality. Yes sex education PERIOD should be taught in school along with prevention and condoms. Children start learning about their own sexuality at an early age. Whether their parents accept them is another thing. That is why you have teenage suicides because of the guilt their parents and society puts on them. Whether it be an unwanted pregnancy or being gay. But I suppose you would rather see these people commit suicide.

When a country allows millions of illegals to infiltrate its country and start to turn it into a third world country, when it allows illegals to get away without paying taxes and taxes it's legal citizens, when it gives free health care to illegals and charges a thousand dollars a month to a legal elderly couple, when it sends its jobs to other countries and imports cheap labor, we have a country in a downward spin. If people don't stop voting party and vote for a real change the America you have known will be changed forever. Their is no such thing as the moral party and each candidate must be judged on the issues. They are that screwed up.

Your spelling betrays your lack of education. Sadly, uneducated people tend to hide behind their ignorance and fear that which they do not understand. No right minded person defends child rape or rape of any kind, nor do we support our enemies nor has a gay life style ever been taught to 4th graders.

Labels are used to identify products and warn users of hazards but when you use them to identify people you risk poisoning yourself. I have a lot of negative opinions about fundamental Islam but they extend to Fundamentalism of any kind be it Hindu, Moslem or Christian. And I am very straight but I do know some nice, productive, non-child molesting gays.

Finally who is to say who are our enemies are? Perhaps the biggest, most gutless traitor to America is the one who professes to be our leader.

You would have been a great addition to Joseph Goebels' office in the 1930s ... or Karl Rove's now, for that matter.

Anything else you'd like to add. Are atheists pedophiles too? Oh, wait, pedophilia seems to be mainly a Christian/Republican vice!

Whatever mindless propaganda you've received, People don't/shouldn't deserve to learn to hate. We're no supporting the negative attributes of our unfriendly neighbors, but supporting the good. At least that was supposed to be our agenda.

In this day and age, secular anything is outdated and nothing more than away to gain money without working for it, or giving half to the government.

I'm Secular; not a progressive. I don't like, nor get, the frequent use of secular as a negative.
