It could be a minor infection, bacterial or yeast, that is mild enough you are only aware of it at night. You might be allergic to something in your pajamas or bedding, like a laundry detergent.

However, the "only at night" thing raises a red flag for pinworms. See a doctor if home remedies like an over the counter yeast cure or hydrocortisone don't work. In the meantime, practice good hygiene and don't wear underwear to bed. But don't douche! This destroys the normal climate in the are and kills healthy bacteria, among other things.

See your doc, could be thrush other wise known as a yeast infection, could be an allergy................thrush is easy to treat you can buy a tablet over the counter at the chemist also use live yogurt yes thats right................. you put some on a tampon and insert the yorgurt also u eat a little every day as well, if its thrush please dont have sex a man can pick it from you then it just goes round and round. Thrush is mainly yeast which has got out of control........... but i would see my doc first. good luck. Ps, All woman have this yeast its part of our body

MOST LIKELY THRUSH, GO DOCS THOUGH TO BE SURE!
you can have thrush on the outside with symptoms as u have described,
or on the inside where you would have the discharge,

if it is thrush you doc will prescribe you with a cream , probably canestan to apply there. and it will calm down alot when you put it on.
Make sure you dont wear tight trousers/tights or anything that is very tight round that area, that can cause thrush.
