I see there's a guy on here answering ???
The pain was like having a papercut on the end of your finger , not so bad at all , nothing like child birth as someone implied , but if your highly aroused you won't even notice the pain , make sure you do a lot of foreplay first as this gets you really turned on , I hope this is helpful.

That's like asking "how long is a piece of string?" Women are quite different and someone who is extremely fearful and nervous might relate quite a bit of discomfort while many women have no pain at all, especially with a considerate partner.
Unless you are anatomically abnormal, this should not be a big deal. Women who are terrified about the idea can even arrange to have a doctor remove the hymen under anesthesia to avoid any pain later, but this is really making a mountain out of a molehill.
Seeing a doctor for a female exam before becoming sexually active is the best plan of all. You can be sure you don't have an abnormally tough hymen or any other problems and can discuss birth control and protection from STD's.

The pain is not the same in all women!!!
Some women don't experience pain at all, others feel a resistance they have to get over.
It helps a lot having your muscles completely relaxed.

Well, it's not pleasant I can tell you that! But the pain is also short- lived.
Don't just give it away to anyone though, try to save it for someone you really care about.

Being stabbed and sliced by a double edged serrated knife. It's nothing to look forward to. Don't waste your virginity on some guy who won't be around after. Wait until you get married where you have some semblance of commitment. Remember, a man can have sex once or a 100 times and you can't physically tell but a woman has sex just one time and she's marked for the rest of her life. Be careful.
