If you're a free player, your only choice is to purchase the armor off of other players. WARNING: Some people will state that because they are members or for any other reason they are capable of taking regular armor and adding the trim to it. This is not possible!!! They are trying to steal the armor from you.
If you're a member, you also have the option of doing a treasure trail. Adamant armor can be received from level 2 scrolls, dropped by guards (and certain other creatures). However, the trail rewards are random so I can't guarantee that you'll get (g) pieces off of every trail.

All (t),(g),Saradomin,Guthix,and Zamarok armor is from treasure trails.
While in member worlds,killing almost any NPC in the game has a slight chance of producing a "Clue",there are level 1,2,and 3 clues for black,adamant and rune armor,respectively. The level of the clue depends solely on the level of the NPC.
(They've also added ranger and mage trimmed equipment.)
Anyway,after getting a clue,you folow it for another clue,and eventually,you dig up treasure including runes,arrows,and the above mentioned armor both trimmed and non-trimmed.
