my xbox went threw the testing and i don't know what mtu means when it or what should i do

MTU = Maximum Transmission Unit ... for MOST broadband connections unless u know better dont put this above 1500 or below 750, the commonly suggested setting for this is 1492

PPoE = Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (tho is is usualy a typo and is ment to be PPPoE) above some one suggested that u make this "Peer to Peer"... um it IS p2p by definition and cant be other wise...

as for Xbox live no connecting... this is a bad thing?... make sure that you have your ROUTERS IP SUBNET the same as those listed on the Xbox and that you make sure that and NAT settings are done correctly (eg No Filtering or Address Sensitive filtering policies are active or UPnP is active) and if you are using NAT make SURE that your router is really UPnP active if you use it, as the Xbox is stupid and will report NAT mode 1 even if its not working.

Whats type of internet connection do you have? Cable or DSL? What Isp?

- try fixing your connection
- try setting up the ip add. manually

You need to make sure when you set your ppoe, that it is peer to peer
