The late great Robert Johnson is often called the King of the Delta Blues guitar. From what I've heard about Clapton is that he spent perhaps two to three years ONLY studying the technique and method of Robert Johnson and it is definitely evident in his guitar playing, especially if he's not playing that radio garbage. Gary Moore is exceptional too and isn't as much as a sellout....my vote....Robert Johnson ;)

common, i might want to ought to flow with Johnson as my well-known guitarist of both. I in basic terms desire he does no longer sing in any respect because his voice in basic terms annoys me. he's any such badass guitarist, yet his voice is so damn wimpy. To be honest, notwithstanding, i have not heard as a lot of Gary Moore's guitar paintings...yet I do love what i have heard. Johnson's "Tribute to Jerry Reed" sounds very nearly precisely like Jerry Reed's playing the guitar. If he had used a nylon-string guitar like Reed frequently did, this is the in difficulty-free words element that would want to have jogged my memory even extra or Reed's playing than the way it replaced into...both way, i'm surprised that a guitarist linked really with rock realized to play that Jerry Reed-kind or united states. Why is it that those C.G.P.'s are so damn solid? Jerry Reed, Steve Wariner, John Knowles and Tommy Emmanuel might want to no longer be human with the way they play (performed, in Reed's case. As he died many years decrease back now).
