I have been most impressed with the idea of the Maldives and have had a rather to good price to vist the Thulhagiri Island resort, ANy one have any good alterntive ideas or has been there. Many thanks for your help

Maldives is an archipelago, meaning a large group of islands. It is remarkably known as the world's final tropical island paradises in the central Indian Ocean. Male'

Most of the resorts in Maldives are located in the three atolls that are closest to the capital. They are North Malé Atoll, South Malé Atoll and Ari Atoll. The Canaries are really good in winter, nice and warm !!
Probably be a bit cheaper than the Maldives etc, why not give it a try !
We went to Fuerteventura last week, weather was 28/29*. Got a great tan too.............stay in the Elba Sara Hotel in Caleta De Fuste..............absolutely beautiful !!

I went to the Maldives last month... Best Holiday ever!!!! If you go make sure you go to the Kuredu Island as they have more activities than all the others and it is absolutly beautiful!!!!!!

Well my advice is to get a divorce. Marriage is about respect and love and you two seem to be lacking in those departments. And don't worry about it being hard on the kids its probably harder for them while you two are together. Just take a stand against him and leave. He doesn't deserve you and you don't need him. I think you expected to get an answer like this one when you asked because you've probably been considering this for a while. Why wait? life is too short to spend it with a guy like him

How about Phuket and the PhiPhi Islands in Thailand, very beautiful.
If you want more of traveling adventure why not try a scooter drive around the island of Taiwan.

places around Kerala, India would be good too. like backwaters or the island cluster of Lakshadweep? they are not that far off maldives.

They are very green and some places should be very quiet too.

Maldives are more the seclusive tipe. Try GOA, very friendly and quiet, many beaches...

Gambia in Jan, heaven! warm, friendly and cheap. I've been for the last three years, sunset beach hotel! If you go say Hi to Harold and Sam Sam for me!

Why don't you go skiing? A lot of fun and good exercise but can also be relaxing. Try France, Italy, or Switzerland. Or if you can afford it, the US.

Ive been to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Australia in January, if you can afford it head off to Oz its fab!
