i don't like putting chemicals in my tanks but I've found if you cut up a clove of garlic finely & put it in the tank it acts like a natural anti-bacterial. The tank will smell a little funny for a few days but it will go away & my fish dont have very many health problems anymore.
I only do this once every 1 - 2 months & its a preventative measure not a quick cure, hope it helps.

go to aquabids.com
there should be some good links there.
OR go to a local store that sells FISH only and ask for their references.
better yet...go to the library and search online with the help of a librarian.
good luck.

I agree with Nunya kokosgoldfish.com is the best, also http://www.petlibrary.com/goldfish/goldfish.html is good. (preachy, but good.)
