Excuse me Volt but there are big differences in these civilisations you mentioned and USA+ UK.
The later countries were built on possessions of guns and stealing other people's civilisations and resources. There are NO comparison.
America will be here as long as she got nuke OR till all other countries got the nukes .
USA+UK did not build human being a thing other than wars and evil.

The European Union has potential to become a super state that could rival America economically if not overtake it, but that won't be for many decades to come. China already has the means to win America in a fight. Britain was still top dog at the beginning of WW1 and could still be if it hadn't been for the two world wars. So I guess the answer to how America could loose its place at the top would be down to war or another catastrophic event like a natural disaster.

2027. I truthfully have carried out some Math, and pondering the annual growth fee on the Debt, the upward thrust interior the expenditures of interest that are drawing close the Debt, the Stagnation of Annual sales: we can be paying greater in interest on our Public Debt each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days than we acquire in Tax gross sales by ability of 2027, if we don't enhance all Taxes by ability of a minimum of 20% and shrink ALL Spending by ability of a minimum of 20% this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, it rather is Mathematically Inevitable. that's whilst u . s . a . of america will quit to Exist as that's been for the final 250 years. there will be Rioting, Violence, Looting and probable Civil conflict or a Take-Over by ability of yet another usa. we can be Greece on Steroids. And NO different usa would be stable sufficient or sufficiently vast to BAIL US OUT, like they might for Greece.

I really dont think that the USA will lose its global power until it is hit by a massive economic and environmental disaster. Shouldn't be to long then! 20 years tops.
However I would also suspect that the people with the power (money) in the states atm will swiftly move themselves into a nice position elsewhere. As for the minimum wage earners, well, good luck.
Also I'm sorry to say that Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Britian and France are all still about... ;)

America will last hundreds of years. It might not be the same as it is now, it might be fragmented into more than one country, but it will still be America.
Think of past world powers. Just because they lost some of their power does not mean they went away. Think of France and England. They are still here, they just aren't as powerful as they once were.
I think China will become the world superpower, but they will have to open up and go green to become it.
I think AMerica might eventually merge into the European Union, making the two nations a mega-superpower.

The America that the founding fathers envisioned is already dead. It was killed by a succession of things including, but not limited to, the income tax, foreign entanglements, the Federal Reserve and lifetime politicians.
The only thing keeping what used to be America going is the billions of dollars the Chinese are lending us.

Politically speaking, the fate of america can be forseen in decades to come. I believe that whether you like it or not, America is loosing its grip in the international arena as the most powerful and economically successful country in the world.
This phenomena is likely attributed to the emergence of other powerful country like China. Although, china is a developing country at the moment but China shows a promising future in the world politics. In economy alone, US is no longer holding more than half of the worlds output. In terms of military, US does not have a monopoly of cutting edge technology in terms of military artillery. These are early proofs that America is gradually loosing its grip.
Now, what are the reasons why america is about to lose grip? Firtsly, the emergence of newly developed countries. The gradual equalisation of power distribution amongst the global village and definitely the diminishing confidence of other countries towards the ability of America to act as the police dog of the world. The increasing number of countries opposing america and its lousy foreign policy even more intensify opposition of America. Strong majority opposition from the international community indicates discontent, which inevitably affects domestic and international politics, economics and society of the country involve. On the contrary, China is experiencing the other way around.
Other than China, European Union is promising too but not as promising as China.
hope i was able to shed light to your question.
cheers.

That's good question i would like to say that america is working his self to death he is creating problem for his own existing how many people now a days like america he would be true super power if he rules on the heart of peoples and it is other way around so afrer iraq, afghanistan now they are plaining to attack north korea and this will creat more problems for them and so they are not making freinds they are just making enemies in world and north korea is not that piece of cake it got nukes and iam afraid america is endangering itself and also other by bringing north korea in war.China is best candidate for super power because this country is economically strong and they never endanger others or threat others so in that sense they deserve it.

China, India, Brazil and Mexico have a big economical growth each year. Where the money is, the political power will follow. This is the direction where the future superpower will exist..

I take your point, every empire comes to an end and it is normally due to innate corruption.
Who knows, they may take the rest of the world with them. Certainly if they have a dangerous reactionery in power as they do now.
