That sounds about right to me! Part of what happens in early pregnancy is that your digestive system slows down to allow your body to get every single bit of nutrients from everything you eat, and that includes getting all possible fluids from the food. So many women struggle with constipation (less fluid in the stools) as well as increased urine (all those fluids have to go somewhere!)
I can remember in the first trimester I had to get up at least once a night, often more frequently, to go to the bathroom - and this had never been a problem for me before.
Do not under any circumstances start drinking less fluids - your body needs the fluids, 8 glasses of water in addition to other fluids if you can manage it!

I used to pee for what seemed like hours a day... 1-2 times per hour a full bladders worth..
I was in the bathroom so often that i actually did My art assignment that semester "Draw The Room In Your House You Most Use" on my bathroom... My art instructor was female and had several children she loved it and I receives an A+ ....
Later on in pregnancy you will get the same feeling but will only pee 2 drops...

I would mention it to the doctor at your next visit, because it is very normal to pee a lot in the last couple of months of pregnancy because the baby is sitting on your bladder, but the baby is not big enough at 6 weeks to cause that problem. You could have a UTI and just not have any symptoms except the excessive peeing. Definitely mention to the doctor.

The uterus has nothing to do with your frequent urination in early pregnancy. Your homones change your body...they loosing up things and that causes you to pee A LOT more. I do it about 10-12 times a day! It's great when you're a teacher and have to leave a classroom full of teenagers to run to the bathroom! Good luck!

At six weeks you should not be feeling the baby push on your bladder that much. Maybe you could be having twins. There is another situation, and that is pregnancy diabetes, that might make you urinate. Check with your doctor. Are you thirsty a lot too? That is another symptom of diabetes. It goes away after the baby is born, but it does happen sometimes, so check with your doctor.

Lol, I think it depends on how much you drink. I use to have to go like 8 times in just one morning at work and all it would be was a dribble. Wait till you reach the 39 week mark!!

Welcome to the club.LOL!!!!!!That`s exactly what they mean by frequent urination. In early pregnancy the uterus pushes on the bladder reducing the bladder`s holding urine capacity.Wait till u get to mid pregnancy things should get better(at least in theory!)
