Send out your resume' to as many different agencies as possible, in the time that you have at your disposal. Your Boss is not going to be impressed with whatever work you turn in, anyway!
Keep your eyes and ears open for casual chats that other employees, clients who meet you, , Vendors who visit your company, etc may drop hints with.
But at the same time, do NOT get depressed ,and take it personally, when your very first (Or even the first 10 applications you sent off ) resume' got you no response!
Remember Pareto principle?
Send off 10, and you may get 2 responses.
But these two responses would more than offset the time, money, and effort you spent on the other 8! Good luck! Good hunting!!
Keep a cheer!!---ALWAYS! Who knows when the BIG one actually arrives?

The strategic move is to play it safe. Try to stay on the job but when you find another, then quit your job. I think if your not happy or satisfied with what you're doing at the moment, you should try to look at a different perspective. And since you're not cool with your boss either, I think the job is not worth staying for.

Despite the relationship with your boss turns sour, stay on until you find another.

Time to change jobs!
Job hunt while you're still working so you can meet your bills and when you find one you like, take it!

i know it is hard. Sometimes you have to reprioritize. I have had to do it. if your work is that bad....you have to decide what is important to you and make lifestyle changes.
