How wonderful to hear you say that. We have three kids and my wife refused to let me touch her from the moment she was pregnant in each case. Not interested. The very thought was vile and disgusting and she let me know all about it. I have never been able to make her understand how hurtful that was - and still is.
I wonder if you can think of other ways to express your affection for your man that do not involve the baby-making place? (What, you want me to draw diagrams?)

Congratulations on your pregnancy, I understand how nervous you are, I lost a baby in 2002 I was meant to be 18 weeks and went to my ultrasound, only to find out the baby had stopped growing at 13 weeks, I was rushed for a D&C that was in April, in August I found out I was 9 weeks pregnant and I didn't want to bond with my baby for the fact I was so scared it would happen again.
You can always be intiment in many other ways without intercourse, including kissing stroking caressing and body massage. This is only until your a little further in your pregnancy and the chances of miscarriage is decreased. Hope it all turns out wonderfult and you have a healthy baby.

Here in the UK, they do say that you should not engage in sex until 11-12 weeks if you have a history of miscarriage or any bleeding... I would wait just a few more weeks. There is other stuff you can do, you know, which is just as good!
Just make the most of early pregnancy, when you are 36 weeks, as big as a house... trust me you won't be feeling very romantic or sexy!

I can see the concern. A lot of dr.'s say that if you gt pregnant right after a miscarriage, which you are, that you are morelikely to miscarry. i wouldnt recommend having sex either, but there are other things the two of you can do. It's nice you have a patient guy. Try other things, like a romantic walk or something. good luck this time and i hope your baby is o.k., and i am sry to hear of your loss.

if you're worried about the anwser is simple: don't have sex while being pregnant! you're right, it can't harm the baby, but becuase you're so worried about it, you'll only get stressed, and that CAN harm your baby. so don't.
besides, there are plenty of ways to get romance into a relationship, sex isn't the only way, you should know that by now!
so try different ways to have a romantic time, and don't get stressed.
good luck! i hope you can give birth this time (and to a healthy baby)!

No, no longer at present. Your toddler is totally secure by ability of the amniotic sac (a skinny-walled bag that holds the fetus and surrounding fluid) and the stable muscle groups of the uterus. there is likewise a thick mucus plug that seals the cervix and helps shelter against an infection. The penis does no longer come into touch with the fetus in the process intercourse.

I know it would be nice, honey, but the general rule is to not to have intercourse during the first twelve weeks anyway, and if you are worrying that much, why put yourself through the stress?
It's completely understandable that you are nervous though, given what you have been through

I would see what your doctor says - prob best to be careful until 12 weeks. Lots of other lovelystuff you can do - massages, gentle touching and of course do things to him - i'm sure he won't be adverse to plenty of oral! Good luck with this pregnancy.
