You could be just anxious, I know you've been with your partner a long time, but every time you have sex your probably anticipating pain, so you tense up. Some things you could do is, really relax before you have sex, take a bath together, get him to give you a message, have ONE drink to mellow out, have foreplay until your really turned on, use some lubricant, and get him to enter you very slowly, stopping him at any point you feel pain, if he does manage to enter you go very slowly. Gradually you well become used to the sensation, and relax. Alternatively you could get on top of him, in this position you decide how deep he goes, and what speed....your in control.
Good Luck and Relax

Someone else asked this question earlier too and i will say the same to you - i have experiences pain with intercourse for many years and after many attempts at trying to get it resolved i was finally admitted for investigative surgery in January of this year. I was subsequently diagnosed with endometriosis and had a further op later in the year. The pain has subsided but i am now in counselling as it has become more of a psychological/fear issue. I am sure your husband will be supportive - i would suggest you look at the National Endometriosis Society website to see if you have any of the other symptoms. Good luck. x

Try using lubricants and see if that helps. Have you ever tried using a toy? Does it hurt the same after that? If not, what is the size difference between your man and the toy. Maybe something there.

Can also happen if you don't enjoy it with him. If you are not ready or maybe if he doesn't excite you anymore. It can happen. Both shud visit a doc who can counsel you or may be try it with a lub first
