my bff and i always hang out, and we have sucha good time always laughing and joking, but when time comes to get serious about issues and stuff she always makes a joke about it and cant be serious. like, anytime i wear something different from all the other girls, she always puts me down saying "EW THATS GAY" or " WTF r u wearing" and when i tried to tell her this she'll say "no i dont" and she'll get pissed off, because like i said, she cant be serious. its like she only has two emotion 1. laughing and joking with me 2. pissed off at me. the only time shes serious is when it concerns HERSELF.

This is a person who is trying to avoid a direct answer; her behavior toward you is controlling, and I would be hard-pressed to consider her a friend if I were in your place. Her continual criticism is not the sign of a friend, but of a bully. My advice - find a better friend!

Tell her if she can't be serious for even a second, then threaten her to 'dump' her. Get control of ur friendship and do not let her control it. If she puts u down, walk away. She'll probably try to 'play tango' to get back to u, but I think u can do better by trying to make new friends. Eventually she will give up and apologise. Just hope she promises to change.

She sounds like a self absorbed, conceited princess whose used to getting her way all the time.

Maybe look at getting some new friends - real friends wouldnt act like that.

Buy or barrow one of those digital voice recorders and don't let her know it then if this happens again sneak it on and she can hear what you are talking about but be gentle you don't wont to hurt or embarrass her then you can discuss it and work it out. good luck .

i think you should ignore her for a while, if she's a good friend, she'll ask you why are you ignoring her, and use this moment to talk to her seriously.SERIOUSLY. tell her that you're not comfortable with her attitude. i think she'll understand
