Because of the battery. It cause explosion.

If you are refering to accidental explosion, most likely cause is the battery, a cheap knock-off, poorly assembled can cause a short within the assembly unit, thereby melting the battery content and causing a chemical reacion that can explode. My Nokia battery did that when I purchased it in Hong Kong, I sent the battery to a friend in Nokia Taiwan for analysis, the verdict, a cheap knock-off battery.
But if you are refering to intentional part, like creating a disaster, even the sane person with knowledge will not point you to a direction on how to. Using a mobile phone as a bomb trigger is traceable, its a crime and punishable by imprisonment. If your intent is for learning purposes, more likely the information you are getting are craps, unless you experiment and try it.
Why use a phone to triger the bomb is you can use timer?

mobile bomb is packed in a bag,carton,box etc... with substance that reacts violently when contact with electricity or radiowave, thus causing it to explode.
