or to wait till you get married? I always thought living with your significant other before would give you a glimpse of what it might be like if you lived together. And if it doesnt work, no divorce papers to sign! Wht do you guys think?

I think that to get married, you have to be 100% about your feelings. And even if you are, you never know what to expect. I don't think I'd live with my boyfriend before our marriage but I do sleep a lot over at his house and do know how he looks when he is angry, irritated, overtired, etc. But that comes because we have been very open with each other and now, we have been together for a long time. If you haven't been for a long time with your boyfriend, don't get married but live together because sometimes, you think you know someone while in fact, when you come to live with that person, you don't survive.

I think you are wrong. It's more exciting to wait until you get married to live with the man. Then you are able to work through things and you have a commitment, so no one will run at the slightest thing wrong. There's something to this commitment thing that you younger girls who are immature just don't get....

live with them first! thats when you really get to know him. It gives you a chance to learn important thing.....Is he lazy and treat you like a slave, is he financialy responsible, does he clean up after himself, does he like having all his friend over 4 times out of the week. i dont think anyone should get married before they have had a chance to live together.

no it is not better. it actually is worse!! you are more likely to stay and work out your problems if you are married than if you are just shacking up. i mean why play the role of the wife (cooking, cleaning, sexing) if you can't rightfully have the title? it's a waste of time. why by the cow when you can get the milk for free?

It would fall down on whether you are comfortable to live with him...you don't live with him because that's how others do it, you live with him because both of you wanted to and are ready for any and all of the responsibilities of living together.

Don't rush take your time.
