Dear Louie,
I'm not sure I understand, does she fight with you when you are changing her diaper or does she want you to change her and you don't ?
How old is she?
Well, in case she is fighting with you when you change her diaper or her clothes, try getting everything that you need together at the table first, then bring her to the table and strap her on.
Then give her a little toy to play with to keep her hands busy, Sing to her. Try "Puff the Magic Dragon". Babies love that song because it is so soothing. You can also try playing "peek-a-boo" or "where is baby" with a cloth or a clean diaper. If baby is young , always use a high pitch, soft voice like a woman because babies feel soothed by that. Don't forget to smile at your baby while you talk.
If you use diaper wipes, try running them under warm water first to warm them up and remove the chemicals. Make sure they are not hot.
If she is 4-5 months or older, you can start telling her (In a nice way) that "Daddy is going to change you now and I want you to behave".
iF SHE IS OLDER AND SHE CAN DRESS HERSELF, LET HER PICK HER CLOTHES, BUT ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE PULLED 2 OUTFITS OUT AND CLOSED THE CLOSET DOORS SO YOU NARROWED DOWN HER SELECTION. kIDS WANT TO FEEL LIKE THEY CAN CONTROL THEIR LIVES A LITTLE WHEN THEY GET TO A CERTAIN AGE AND WE MUST GUIDE THEM GENTLY AND SAFELY, LETTING THEM FEEL IMPORTANT. (Sorry, I didn't mean for this to be in capitals)
Lots-a- Luck Louie!

We are in the same boat...my twins always cry and totally fuss when changing their diapers or putting clothes on..it drives me crazy and I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one with this problem.....
I wish I could tell you why they cry. The only reason I have is because they just woke up and they do not want to be lying down again for a, what they might think, is a stupid diaper change and to have clothes put on. And don't you just hate it when their legs are all over the place: in your face, in your chest, etc...and, they roll over for crying our loud...it drives me nuts....
Thanks for this post, I needed to vent ...
Hope I helped you an itsy bitsy bit.... :-)

They fight because naked is more comfortable than plastic/paper pants on your tush and clothing on the rest of you. Wouldn't you rather be naked if you could be? Baby only tolerated it this long because he wasn't big enough to make his preference known until now. Now he/she has an opinion, and you get to hear about it.

Because it "ties" them down for a moment which seems like forever to them. They are ready to be active and play not hold still for a diaper or clothes change.

You're not alone.
Every parent has to struggle at nappy changing times- especially when their child is able to crawl!
