They are just actors. Some people get good acting jobs, others don't get so good acting jobs.
Being on the Jerry Springer show wouldn't be that bad. It would be fun to write some scripts and have two women fighting over you. My favorite part is when the sexy women gets naked.

I don't know for sure but they may get paid money to go on the show & if they are desperate for cash that will be the answer!
but you are right they do make big fools of themselves.

Bored......Stupid........maybe for their 15 mins of fame, but I agree with you, they make asses of themselves and I don't know about Trisha, but Jerry treats them like crap too. YOU WOULD NOT EVER CATCH ME ON THAT SHOW!!

because they have nothing better to do with their time... they must be so bored, if going on national tv and airing their dirty laudry in public is the only way that they can keep themselves amused! and fame, dont forget the 5 minutes of fame they are going to get!

because they are very sad people looking for their 5 minutes of fame. I bet half the problems they talk about are just made up to get on the shows.

fame and notoriety...means that when they get back to their towns they can brag to all the other 15 year-olds that they "been on that Springer telly show 'avent i?"
