I also have to face the same problem everyday, I'm the topper of my class & many (or I must say , most of) my classmates are jealous of me but now , gradually, I'm getting used-to it!!!
If you also have the same problem, don't worry about it, JUST FORGET IT or you'll never be able to feel happy!!!

Because of our nature.
Jealousy has something to do with "the desire to be important".
This is obviously why there is so much competition in almost every imaginable thing in the world.

it is bcoz of their nature . human nature cannot see the thing/person he likes with somone else & also its not human nature to see other people happy
& basically its dissatisfaction or frustration of being not able to achieve it
