No, I have not done this myself, but I have a male co worker whose ex just did this to him...she was trying to get him back...it went on for 4 months until she was found out..he is devestated, but she didn't get him back either....he refuses to talk to her...
Is it worth it?

I have never told anyone that no.
I think that lying about something so emotional and important is a very hurtful thing to do.
First of all, you will be found out. And if the motivation behind it is to try and keep someone, then you are setting yourself up for failure. Even if you actually were pregnant, that does not make a relationship work. What makes a relationship work is honesty, communication, compassion & love. A good relationship can never be built on a foundation started with lies.

NO IT DOES NOT WORTH IT. a guy can never accept a girl back if she lies about her pregnancy.its a sensitive issue. very hard to be resolved.its better to be truthful though truth always hurts, but it somehow makes things better off.

i don't think any act committed with malice towards someone will have a positive results, as you can see the results of what happen to your co-worker!
