If it wasn't heavy and more like spotting, you could still very well be pregnant. This type of bleeding has a name... I don't remember it, though... It's basically from the egg attaching itself to the uteris' wall. I would suggest going to your doctor and getting their opinion; those pregnancy tests can be so iffy! Good luck to you and getting pregnant! I know it's difficult when you're trying so hard and getting nowhere, I was in the same exact boat.

I hope you go to see a doctor ASAP as you could have been and maybe still are pregnant, You need to know because if you are pregnant and bleeding, (which can be normal in early pregnancy) there might be a problem and you should be sent for an ultrasound to discover what it is, you may be loosing the baby or are at risk of loosing the baby, there are things the doctor can advise you to do if you haven't yet lost the baby, as in bed rest or something until the baby is bigger and the risks are decreased. I hope you do go to the doctor ASAP because you might be able to save the baby but been to worried about been disappointed could be putting your baby at risk. I would say that if a HPT comes up pregnant then your pregnant but if it comes up negative don't believe it 100% as it can be a false negative, just depending on certain situations. Pregnancy is a real test, you can bleed and everything be fine its sometimes just a sing to let you slow down, as pregnancy is a huge pressure on your body so just take it easy and see your doctor. Good luck

The best way to know it by going to a doctor. Your negative test could have been taken at time when you had a lot of fluid in you or when you had already urinated several times that day not allowing HCG to build up. Was it a different test? I took 7 pregnancy tests and it went negative, negative, negative, negative, faint positve, slightly darker positive, CLEARLY positive. So everyone is different. I suggest you get to a 24 hour pharmacy get a test and go to bed and take it as soon as you get up the next day. If its negative go see a doctor anyway. Plus if it didn't work this time..there's always your next cycle. Congrats if you are and best wishes if you continue to try.

Hope I helped.

I had taken two hpt and they were both positive but when I went to the doc the urine test came back negative because it was later in the day. He informed me that it is VERY rare to have a false positive pregnancy test but false negatives happen all of the time. As far as the bleeding I would definitely go to the doc. I also had bleeding at the beginning and went to the er, everything was fine but it is much better to know for sure than to worry. Stress can cause a miscarriage. GOOD LUCK!!!

it definitely sounds like you COULD have miscarried- but you should go to a free clinic and get tested, they could even do an ultra sound-they are very good about privacy- i really hope the best for you..you really need to see a doctor though, if there was a miscarriage, i know this is terrible, but the , well youll need to clean yourself out- you could cause yourself even more emotional trauma if you dont by adding cancer to the possibilities...please go get checked

The brown blood means it was old, it had been inside you for a while until gravity took over and brought it out. Red is just fresher blood. I am afraid you may be in for a disappointment.
