The stance of the wicket keeper depends on the type of bowling. While he sits/stands close to the wicket when a spinner is bowling, he stands away when a fast bowler is bowling. When a spinner is bowling the reflexes of the wicket keeper should be more fast so that no caught behind chance of stumping chance is missed. When the fst bowler is bowilng the ball passes through the batsman very fast and as such the wicket keeper should be slightly away behind the stump, so that either no extra runs resulting from the ball missed by the batsman or the ball coming from the nick of the batsman is not missed.

It depends on the bowling style but if the bowler is spinning the ball the wicket-keeper will need to be close to the stumps for stumping opportunities; but if there is a pace bowler the wicket-keeper will need to stand much further away from the stumps in order to stop any loose deliveries or to accomodate for the extra distance the ball travels behind the batsman should he get an edge on the ball.

you can see that they Stand awy and wide of the stumps while the Seamers boul and close to the stumps in sitting like position while Spinners bowl.
That's purely because when Seamers bowl the spped of the ball is vry high and so if the keeper stands close to the stumps and when the batsman leaves the ball he could not collect it because the batsman hides the line and length of the ball being delivered and so he stans at Distance and wide of the stumps to look at the line which the ball is travelling and so he can adjuusthis position to the side in which the ball comes.
For the spinner he stands close as the ball travels slower compared to the Seamers and for them to he stands slightly wide of the batsman to identify the line in which the ball travels. So that he can collect it easily and also Slight nicks can be caught and Stumpigs and be done.

crouching gives them the best opportunity to jump up dive forwards or sideways, and also gives them a better perspective of the line and length, giving them a fraction of a second longer to start moving into position to catch the ball. Also crouching forces them to stay on their toes and remain light footed ready to move.
