Who cares about the Tigers? It's all about the Dodgers. Think Blue. In that case I would pick Koufax or Robinson
Have a great day

Al Kaline. He was the ultimate example of talent and class. A great right fielder with a rifle arm. The youngest player in baseball history to win a batting title. A member of the 3000 hit club and a Hall of Famer.

Al Kaline -- who played the game with great class and character. Came straight out of high school to the majors -- was a great combination of hitting for avereage, good power, a great defensive player , great baserunner, good speed. He was an all-round player in the truest sense of the word.
Plus he stopped playing at a time when he could have gone on and rung up greater totals for his career, but wasn't playing at the same standard -- so he hung them up.
Complete class.

I'd have to say Denny Mclain. There's no telling how much of a career he could have had if it was'nt cut short by his own vices. He blew everyone away in 1968 when he won 31 games. Detroit has a lot of memorable players, but he stands out to me.

the bird
during that great '76 season, he was a ballplayer everyone could relate too. he wasn't rich, he wasn't handsome, he was just a guy who loved baseball. his love for the game rubbed off on the fans and they packed tiger stadium 50,000 tight every night he pitched. when the game was over, fans wouldn't leave until Bird came out for a curtain call. he had fun and not too many other guys put fun first. it's a damn shame he hurt his knee and ultimately his career just by goofing around in spring training.

Placido Polanco.
I've never been a Tiger fan but this season I started watching them.
I started to like Placido Polanco. His eyes drew me in!
Polanco's an all-around great player and has a lot of class.
And he's easy on the eyes ~ Always a plus!

a million.) Magglio Ordonez: enjoyed him even while he develop into on the White Sox, do no longer likely understand why. in ordinary terms an fairly stable hitter. 2.) Miguel Cabrera: the guy is a beast, very grasp. 3.) Justin Verlander: he's a horse, between the terrific pitchers in the league. I additionally like Schrezer, Peralta, Boesch, Porcello, & Guillen alot.
