Hi there!!

Are you on birth control? Sometimes if your cramps are really painful, getting on the pill can help to reduce the severity of the cramps. I had horrible cramps before I got on the pill (I've been on it for 9 years). They were so bad I used to get sick to my stomach because of them. My cramps have been a lot easier to handle since getting on the pill----but occasionally I get some bad ones. I'm 22 now, and I'd say they haven't gotten worse since I've gotten older. If you aren't on the pill, you might want to think about doing so, not only for the fact that it will prevent unwanted pregnancies, it will reduce your cramps and get you on a very regular schedule. If you are however on the pill, there are some things you can do to alleviate the bad cramps you're having. Therma-care makes a heat patch that you can place on your lower abdomen. It's wonderful! As soon as you put them on, it heats up and stays warm for hours. They are like giant stickers, so they can easily be worn under clothes and last all day! Also, standing in the shower and pointing the shower head to your lower abdomen can reduce the cramps as well. The water pulsating on your belly will help to reduce the cramping. Motrin or Midol is always a good idea too, they tend to take the edge off of severe cramps. And try to not eat or drink a large amount of sugar or caffeine, because they can increase the pain in your cramps. Hope this helps, and good luck!! Gotta love being a woman, right? LOL.

They can do but it is worth while having a check up as you may have endometriosis which causes bad period pains.
Ask for mersydol over the counter at chemist it will help with pain at night and help you sleep may cause you to be sleepy in day but there is a daytime one.

It can be yes. If you are having bad cramps you should talk to your physician. Sometimes they will recommend taking the pill and it will lighten them up. If they get too severe they can prescribe a muscle relaxer.

You should ask a doctor, but How old? If you're 16 and they are worse than when you were 13, it might be hormones. If you're 30 and they're worse than when you were 20, it could still be hormones, or even fibroids, those lumpy non-cancerous tumors.
