would a geforce 6200 256 mb be ok? my board is still on agp slot and this is the only agp card icould find so far. presently i have a geforce mx4000 128mb.i have 1G of RAM DDR400.

I think that GeForce 6200 will be OK, as long as you played the NFSU 2 with minimum quality.
But if you consider to play it with medium (or high) quality,
I think you should consider 7600GS or 7800GS AGP Version. It has a lot of features and reasonably priced.
And the last thing you need to worry is make sure your processor has a lot of horsepower to avoid the "bottleneck".

www.evga.com will give you a good idea of comparisons with AGP graphics cards. Don't buy there, though. You'll get much better prices at www.newegg.com
