I have two HD and partintined . My OS is Win XP Pro. Can you tell me how to use different progmmes on different (Partition) drives while keeping my os as XP

Upon installations, many programs will ask if the default directory is okay for installation. Normally something like C:\Program Files\, instead of that change the C to a D thus you will get D:\Program Files\

Note, D is only the letter of the drive that many people have, you may want to adjust to your needs.

whenever you install anything you are asked to select the destination folder. from there you can select the drive where you want to save the program.
By default your destination drive 'll be either c:\ or d:\.
you can change it during installation of program.

When you install a program it will ask you where to install it. It doesn't matter where - put them wherever you like!

Just a point, but the word is "program" not "programme"...

winxp is not an OS..it is another joke that Microsoft came up with to make people laugh at..and make them happy..
