If you don't want the rapist arrested, 'why would you want to report it? Hell, who knows, maybe he can go and rape another victim who feels the same as you! I don't know how you could ask such a question, unless you're the one who was raped? I can only imagine how embarrassing it would be for you to report him under those conditions, especially if it's someone you know and trust. Go to someone you feel close to for support and safety. Tell them what happened so they can help you/her make the right decision . LOL

You have a choice whether to press charges against someone who's commited a crime against you. But like someone else said, why report it if you don't want the person arrested?

no there is no way to report a rape and have no arrest made. rape is a crime and every crime has a punishment. that is why you hear the phrase 'Don't do the crime if you can't do the time'

You must go to the emergency room for an exam. You have the choice to press charges or not. But, in case you decide to take a stand for YOUR life, then the evidence must be collected.

if there has been a rape there should be an arrest preferably before someone else gets raped

not really, i mean sure you could, but really do you want this person to get away with it? i can understand you might be feeling guilty, but it was not your fault! this person deserves to get what is coming to them even if your not sure, that is why the law is there to help you when your confused about your feelings or what needs to happen. i can understand where you are coming from, i know it doesn't probably feel like it now but you will eventually be okay.
