I know that everyone doesn't like to read books, but I'd still like your opinion if you would. If you were going to read a book (novel), what would you prefer to read about?

Something that has an intriguing, catchy, maybe fictional storyline with an interesting main character..someone engagin, someone who makes you feel like you can relate to or at least understand the feelings and things he/she is going through...and im not quite sure how i can define this, but i like a certain kind of writing...like the kind of writing that is pretty basic on its own, but is still able to convey the complex story and deeper meanings quite nicely. And i also love fantasy / science-fiction type books.

Cool question, by the way. I hope you have a nice day. =)

My preference is mysteries or murder mysteries with an eccentric or quirky main character. I.e. Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple and Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe.

Currently reading: Three Aces by Rex Stout
